Micro ligatures are tiny brackets that are used to attach wire to the tooth. They are also called mini brackets or micro brackets. Micro ligatures are made of stainless steel or a titanium alloy. The bracket is bonded to the tooth with dental adhesive. A pin cutter is used to cut the wire in order to remove it from the bracket. The cutting angle is 7 degrees.
